Controlled Driving Environment

To assist our students in developing their basic driving skills and self-confidence, McGinnis School of Driving offers a closed course, controlled driving environment located in the parking lot at Honeywell Corporation on Jefferson Boulevard NE, just north of Alameda.

Directions to the Controlled Driving Environment:

• Westside Students: Travel East on Alameda to Jefferson
• Eastside Students: Travel West on Alameda to Jefferson
• Turn North onto Jefferson
• Drive approximately 1/2 mile until you reach the Honeywell Main Gate
• After entering the main gate, make an immediate right and follow the road around to the southeast parking lot where you will see the McGinnis cars
• Students may disembark at the blocked off area
• Please Do Not walk out onto the parking lot. The instructor will come to you when he is ready for you to begin
